Christmas gift

So my boyfriend of almost 7 years got me a beautiful Christmas gift. A rose gold ring with chocolate diamonds. And a beautiful rose gold cross with black and diamonds. It's very beautiful and small it looks perfect with the ring. My question is that im not very religious at all, i see the cross as a sign of hope. Would it be wrong if i wear it even though im not religious? He is to an extent, when his aunt passed away in November he knew all the prayers and all that. So I'm alittle conflicted about what i do. I do love it.
