Working Conditions in the O.R.

Danielle
I'm a surgical tech and work in the operating room at a hospital. I'm exposed to radiation (x-ray), bone cement (orthopedic/total joint cases), and chemicals (steris/sterrad/medivators) in sterile processing, which I am hoping to avoid or limit my exposure to when I tell my boss that I am 4 weeks along this week. Any other techs out there with advice, or other concerns I am overlooking? I am also wondering what surgical scrub is my safest option as well. We have triclosan, avagard, and povidine-iodine available at our facility. I have always rotated between triclosan and avagard up until this point. Thanks in advance!
