Pregnant at 20?

My boyfriend and I wanna start trying for a baby after a couple of months into the new year. I'm 20 and he's 22 but I keep getting such negative responses from people when I fill them in on what's going on in my life. Responses like "you're too young" or "live your life" but I've wanted a family since I was 16 and my plan is to have my own family. Why is it such a big deal for a 20 year old to wanna start her life?

I don't think it's a big deal, as long as your financially stable and in a good place with you SO and your both ready for the responsibility I don't see why not. I'm 20 and pregnant with my first, I'll be 21 in February and my husband is 24. I've heard all of those same things, you just have to do what makes you happy and ignore them, in their minds were all supposed to be put in college drinking and screwing random people. But hey that's not for everyone.

If you and your SO are on the same page go for it. 
I got pregnant at 18, had him 2 weeks after i turned 19. I am 24 now, will be 25 in april. We have a second son who will be 3 in February and have been trying for baby number 3 for about a year.

You do what you guys want to do... I just turn 20 a month and a half befor my man and I started dating and got pregnant 2 months into the relationship she was born a month and 1 day before our 1 year anniversary and she's now 15 months old and we've been together for just over 2 years now... 
My point is: 
You shouldn't care what people say or think they aren't in your relationship they won't be doing the stuff with the baby you are...

I had my first at 19 and second at 21. I don't regret it at all. They're five and six now. My first pregnancy was unplanned and my second was planned but not responsibly.  Their father was abusive and I was not financially stable so we struggled for years.  I only wish I had waited because I wasn't stable. But if you are, I can tell you that I love being a young mother and I love that my kids grandparents are still at an age to be able to do alot of stuff with them when they visit.

It's up to u 2 no one else I had my 1st at 26 so wish I had been younger. For many many reasons but if u have family whilst young u have your time later on in life x

It's your life and if you think you're ready then go for it. I had my son at 16 and now will have my second pretty soon now at 18, my first did not stop me from trying to reach my goals and this second pregnancy hasn't either so age has nothing to do with it.

Do what you gotta do. Don't worry about what people have to say.  People always have opinions about everything wether you're going good or bad. At the end of the day they don't pay your bills and they ain't going to feed or take care of your baby! Just be responsible and know what you're doing. (I'm 20 and ttc as well ☺️)
