Back labor?!

Question

Did your belly tighten with back labor or did you just feel crampy? I mistaken back labor last time for nothing and I had my baby early, I'm early this time too and feel about the same as last time just don't want to make an unnecessary trip to L&D yet. Describe your back labor please!!!!

UPDATE:: water broke, it was back labor.. Please pray for us. Baby is 32+2 and she just flipped breech. I'm scared to death.

I had very mild stomach cramps which was what lead me to be in denial I was in labor. My back however felt like it was legit snapping in half. The pain is unreal.

I had it with both of my babies. It felt like my back was breaking constantly. With my youngest I was given pitocin and that was horrible.

I don't remember my belly tightening and I had back labor with my first two pregnancies. I've been having contractions for two days with this one and they've only been in my back as well. I'm only 35 weeks so baby needs to bake just a little longer but I've been so miserable.

I had back labor and while the back pain was almost all I focused on, I remember my belly tightening and contracting too. I remember saying "if al I was having were these front pains, I could totally cope!" So something was happening.

My back pain was excruciating and could have very well overshadowed everything else. I think the important thing to watch is the timing. Constant or random back aches are probably not labor, but if it's that gripping intense pain and you can time it happening every few minutes and then easing off... Maybe labor. I could tell my belly was contracting but I don't remember it hurting until the back pain.
