How to pack for sitter

Meg

I will be going back to work after about 8 weeks. We're very fortunate that my MIL is going to watch our baby for the first couple of years. For anyone who's been in a similar situation with baby being watched by a sitter or family member during the week (someone who doesn't run a whole daycare), how did you pack the necessities?

We will likely just buy wipes for her house.

We are cloth diapering (she has agreed to this) so we will need to send the diapers, but by the time I go back to work we will have an idea of how many diapers she's going through in a day and send those plus a little extra.

Do you send a few outfits each day (planning for messes) or do you send some for the week or even just keep clothes there?

Also hoping to breastfeed and pump so we will need to send that regularly if I'm able to be successful at it. If not, I imagine We'd buy formula like wipes and just stock some for her.

Mostly I'm asking if you pack for the week or pack and send the diaper bag for each day? And what other types of items that I might not think about will we need to send?

MIL has her own carseat due to another grandchild born just a few weeks ago. Also she has a pack n play for sleeping. Her carseat works with our stroller so we can take that as needed. And luckily she lives only about 4 miles from us so she could come get anything she absolutely needed during the day, but we'd like to make it as easy for her as we can.

Thanks!
