I wasnt and havent ever been scared of labor we have to do it and as my mum used to say.. If it was so bad would people go for it a second time haha

My 1st i felt woozy at around 6am i woke but was fine so got up and dressed like a normal day 8am i felt my 1st contraction they came thick and fast i went to the hospital i was 8cm already .. 9.20 she was in my arms 💖

2nd felt my 1st niggle around 5.30 SO was still at work didnt want to bug him 7pm i felt my 1st propa contraction set off to hospital got there again was 8cm and my waters were pretruding not yet burst .. 7.40 she was born not breathing after the longest minute EVER she cried ..

Think baby number 3 is guna give me a harder time than the other two lol

I labored just fine with my first, but didn't take it too well to be confined to the bed once I was checked in. I labored in the hospital 3 hours and pushed for about 30 minutes. In that at respect it was fine and went smoothly. I had a natural birth and was overwhelmed with pain at the point of transition, I screamed quite a bit.  In hindsight, I really didn't like being in a hospital. Babies 3,4, and 5 have all been in a birthing center instead, all natural births. That suits me much better.

I had excruciating back labor :( Horrible! I had no idea it could be that painful. Hoping to avoid it this time with chiropractic care, positioning exercises etc.

It was scary for me because I had the perfect birth plan and the doctor tells me my so 's heart stops every time I have a contraction. I had an emergency c-sec.

My water broke at home around 430am. I got to the hospital and was checked at 830am and was admitted. Contractions hadn't really started by 1230, so they started pitocin. To be honest, the contractions from the pitocin were TERRIBLE. By 930 I was in so much pain I asked for the epidural. I was only dilated to 3cm. After I got the epidural I was able to relax and let my body dilate. I felt so much better! There was pressure and I was nauseated but I'd take that over contraction pain any day. I didn't start pushing until 8am the next day... After two hours of pushing, my baby's heart rate dropped so the doctor did an episiotomy and delivered him with forceps. The feeling of him coming out was the WEIRDEST feeling ever. I felt so empty afterwards! I wasn't expecting that... Then I delivered my placenta which felt equally as weird - no one told me about that haha. The experience was much different than I expected and I don't want to go through it again for a while, but it was completely worth it! I'm a scaredy cat with zero pain tolerance and made it through 30 hours of labor - you'll do great!!

I was induced at 40 weeks with my first.  I had contractions every 2 minutes for 12 HOURS. didn't dilate passed 1. My son became distressed and had an emergency  csection. I think I was a combination of worn out and scared because I passed out. Before even getting to the operating room. I had a epidural after 8 hours of contractions because it was so bad. My epidural didn't take. I walked to a rocking chair 30 minutes after i got it. Tried a ball tried walking the hallway. It was awful honestly. A few hours aftwr my csection i woke up in excurtiating pain. Pain meds weren't working either.   HOWEVER, I had a beautiful baby boy and he's now 8. I had c sections for my.next 2 as well. And oddly enough the next 2 c section were a dang breeze. Stayed awake during both. Took minimal pain meds because I wasn't that sore, and when you have a csection they put in a catheter (painless) they wanted me to have it on for 6 hours after having my babies. I refused and had them pull it after an hour. Each birth is different,  I'm pregnant  with baby number 4 due in may. Hoping for a smooth delivery.
