Do I have it?

Question

I've read up on symptoms and I'm going to the doctors, but I'd like to hear first hand all of the symptoms and how it affects you guys. I'm very scared :(

I just had a laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis about 6 weeks ago. I've had extremely painful periods that began at age 14. I'm now 40. My new obgyn is the only one who listened to my symptoms and took them seriously. I tried drug therapy first for heavy bleeding as my doctor was hoping it would help with the pain. It didn't. My main symptoms are painful periods(can't even get out of bed), heartburn, large blood clots, and constant aching in my ovaries. I believe my endometriosis is connected to my last miscarriage. I'm TTC and losing hope. Best of luck. I was told it will take me longer to heal because I suffer from other chronic illnesses. The procedure itself was a breeze. I felt awesome until the drugs wore off! Listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right, let your doctor know. Blessed be.
