Lower back aches. Anyone else with me?

Anyone else having a lot of lower back pain and pain in their hip area. I'm only 5wks 2dys. This is my first pregnancy and I wouldn't have expected to feel so many aches and pains this early.

Same here! Everything is normal according to everything I have read.  A lot of this subsides in the second trimester I've heard.

Yes! I keep having twinges in my hips too and occasional pain when I walk. I didn't even find out I was pregnant until about 8 weeks last time, so this was surprising for me this early!

Do you think it's possible to have sciatic nerve discomfort this early at almost 5 weeks? Googled my symptoms (I know it's a big no no) and that's what's coming up...would make sense as I already have a dodgy back that plays up every so often from a sporting injury

I don't k ow why this is happening so early either but I'm dealin with it as well. I've got a massage booked for tomorrow. Last pregnancy I found that sitting on the couch with an ice pack on my back really helped. But that wasn't until almost the third trimester :'(

Just started having burning sensation back ache which goes round my right hand side to the middle. Read this is normal but worrying anyway!

I'm with ya, asked my doctor about she said it's normal as long as it's not severe.
