Anyone not telling people the gender?

My husband and I want to find out the gender but kind of want to keep it to ourselves. Is anyone else considering doing this? We like the idea of it just being our secret.

We are keeping it a secret just to be assholes since everyone was a total jerk when we announced we were having our 5th baby!

We are doing exactly this! Only reason being is that my mommy friends have said if people know your gender then you mostly get clothes for your shower. We are first time parents and need the essentials! Our parents are already buying the baby sooo many clothes so once we find out we will be keeping it our secret til our shower day :)

If you do this, I would consider not telling anyone that you know so they won't pester you. Of course it just depends on your strength of secret keeping :)

We are keeping the name of our baby a secret. I've never liked the idea of people not knowing and only us knowing and then having to buy gender neutral stuff and decorating gender neutral even though we know. Just an idea for another option of secrecy! But to each their own!

We are doing this we already have a boy so we don't need a single thing they're one month apart in month wise so they will have same season outfits all we need is essentials 
BUT if we are having a girl it's not going to be announced on social media I will just have a baby shower and in the invitations it will surprise them with the gender! But it will definitely be hidden boy or girl from fb until thebirth

Hubby wants to know I'd like the surprise but I'm gonna try to keep it locked. We didn't share the name of our 1st till she was born so if anything we'll do that in case the gender leaks somehow.

This is what we're doing. People had asked if we were going to find out and I blabbed and said yup! But we're just going to tell people that we chickened out finding out and not tell anyone that we know.
