They're very good for the baby. Eating them while pregnant actually lowers the baby's risk of allergy later in life. It's during their first year or so that they themselves shouldn't eat them to avoid developing an allergy, just like with dairy.

When I was pregnant my nutritionist recommended to keep nuts around and nibble on them all day. I had trouble gaining weight and they wanted every calorie for baby and that helped a lot :)

The only time the recommend you not eating nuts when you're pregnant is if you have nut allergies in your or your partners family. Otherwise it's fine

I ate peanut butter. But I don't like nuts. She's three and her only food issue is she can't do whole milk. I wouldn't worry about it.

not sure if my mom ate nuts with me but I didn't have allergies until I was 11 and developed allergies to like everything in the world including nuts! I outgrow them a few years later and I craved roasted peanuts after getting some on the airplane a couple months back lol. so I think it's just a 50/50 chance no actual way of knowing about the allergy thing.
