Best way to get over a guy?

My boyfriend and I broke up after being together a year and 4 months. It was the longest relationship I've ever been in and we lost our virginity to each other...I know I'm always going to love him but I just want to come to terms with knowing he's gone and here is no more us. I just don't want to have to feel lonely anymore I've been so used to talking to someone everyday and having someone there it's just weird for me.... So any advice to help a girl out?
