Leaving the house?

Question

I think I may have seen this on here already, but how long did you wait to bring your little one along with you on an errand etc. aside from doctors appointments? I.e.: grocery store, target run, etc etc

I take her with me everywhere and have been since we were discharged from the hospital. I have a toddler and a husband so life has to go on. I either keep her covered in her car seat or in a ring sling.

We are waiting 8 weeks and did with our first.. It sucks and makes it harder to do things but with the time of year our pediatrican suggested it til she gets her shots and some immunity

I left the house at about a week old for an hour or so. As the weeks passed I got more brave with my time out and now at 5 weeks I go anywhere I need too.

I wasn't going to miss my sons Christmas performance so we went the day after we got home from the hospital at 3 days old. She was asleep the entire time and we were out of the house maybe 40 minutes tops. At about 5 days old I needed a few Target items so I made a target run she slept thru it all. With a 5 year old I've had to take her with me to pick up and drop off at school. She's now 4 weeks.

We took him out to our (close) family party for Christmas Eve when he was a week old. However, I wore him in my ergo and no one touched or held him. I only took him out to feed him.

I left the hospital on the Thursday night and took her out for breakfast in a cafe in the Saturday morning. She was 4 days old.

We took our son out the same day we went home. We had to stop at cvs to pick up his medication. We didn't actually go in the store, but a few days after that we did. We have a 3 1/2 year old too, so staying inside all day long really isn't a good option for us. He's 3weeks old now and still doing great(:

We had out baby on the 20th, right before all of our Christmas festivities, so we were out and about with her by the 24th, two days after we were out of the hospital. She did great! We had our first Target trip with the stroller a couple days after that. She slept through it all 😴💤

As fas a taking her somewere like church were people want to hold her i  am waiting another week. She will be 2 weeks. But as far as running errands. Eating out. Ive defiantly been out. I just keep her covered. Life still has to go on. I also keep sanitizer in my diaper bag
