Can't hear heartbeat yet with doppler? Normal?

Question

Yesterday I had my first midwives appointment where they checked to hear the heart-beat. Looks like my uterus is tilted, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.. but is it normal to have not heard the heartbeat yet? We saw the heartbeat at 7 weeks and it was 116 bps.

Yesterday I would have been 11 weeks and 6 days. Please tell me it's normal not to pick it up on the doppler that early???

The doctor couldn't find mine at 11weeks something with a Doppler. She said it was all balled up and hiding. Since I hadn't even had a dating ultrasound, she sent me to have one and everything to perfectly fine. She was able to find it more easily a week later with the Doppler.

They couldn't find mine either. It's normal the baby is small and depending on the position you may not hear it on the Doppler. Nothing to worry about.

My midwife couldn't find the heart beat either at 11 weeks with any of my pregnancies including this pregnancy its completely normal don't worry yourself. X

Yup! Normal I had my appt yesterday and I'm almost 11 wks and she said that it's pretty common not to hear it with the Doppler till mid 12 wks but even then it's not 100% of the time just depends where your uterus is. Mine tilts backwards so for me it may not be until later that I hear mine with the Doppler

My doctor couldn't pick up the heartbeat with a Doppler at my last appointment when I was about 11.5 weeks. He said it wasn't uncommon and did a quick sono to ease my mind
