Doesn't like talking to me??

Question

My BF told me before that he doesn't like to talk or think about me over school breaks because he gets sad that he can't see or be with me at the moment. He expressed to me that he misses me during those times and loves to talk to me yet gets sad that I'm not there in his presence. We both live in the same state but kind of long distance.

Any ladies have a boyfriend like this?  It's pretty funny to me but also cute.

I think I should visit more often, or ask about visiting for holidays. Do you think it's appropriate to ask to spend the holidays with  my BF? We've been dating for a year now..

No offence but I think alarm bells would be ringing in my head if my boyfriend didn't want to talk/think about me when we were apart. He works away a lot and I would be worried if he didn't phone me.

I agree with Valerie, I don't find that cute. I find that shady and a little sad. Long distance is hard but you have to communicate - that's how you keep the spark. If you're not speaking... You're not dating.

Honestly I would think he'd want to talk to you more. I never had a guy tell me he rather not talk to me through a break. Sounds suspicious to me too, sorry just being honest.

My boyfriend now husband used be 4hrs away from me and he'd drive here every weekend just to spend 2 days with me. And in between then we'd skype, talk on the phone, and text each other. Long distance is hard but him saying he rather not talk to you is just off to me. Talk to him and suggest different ways of communication or even meeting up.

I do see your point ladies. And it really does give me a different perspective. He really doesn't give me a reason to be suspicious but I agree with you ladies I won't be nieve.
