Just venting 😒
My boyfriend and I are expecting a baby girl in June and he also has an 8 year old son. Him and his sons mother were only together for like 6 months after he was born and have never really gotten along. It's been a lot better for the past year or so which I'm happy about because it's easier for everyone, especially their son, but the other day she was texting him all these pictures of the two of them together with their son when he was tiny.
I know this probably sounds petty but she knows we are expecting and I just feel annoyed by it like this is our time to be a family not your time to try to reminisce with him 😒
I've never felt threatened by her or anything, I was happy with the way my boyfriend responded, and I adore their son it's NOTHING against him, I like seeing pics of him when he was little because he was cute, but her sending him pics of the three of them was just irritating to me. She also has another son now and has been with his father for quite a while so idk it was just strange.
Like I said maybe I'm petty but this is me and his time and I guess I kinda feel like she was trying to make it about her or something idk
