Can you get pregnant with the depo?

Hi, I'm new to this app and hoping u ladies can help me out I'm on my second depo shot and I been having weird symptoms like pregnancy symptoms bt hoping it's yust in my head. I already have three beautiful children and I'm not ready to have baby #4. Can u guys help me out

I was able to get it for two years and I never got pregnant. We decided we wanted to have a baby and so I skipped one shot and it only took two months for me to get pregnant, so just make sure to be consistent. When I was on it I got hungry a lot and gained weight, lost my period, and got headaches. It could be just your body getting used to the shot. If you're really worried get a test, but it's a highly effective form of birth control after it's fully in your system.
