I'm not sure where to post this, but this has been secretly bothering me for a little while so I thought I could get some insight. 

I have been "friends" with this girl for about 6 months. I'll Call her Abby. Abby and I got along great instantly and had so much in common. We are both married and have been trying to have a baby. Abby has been married for almost a year, I have been married for 3 years. Anyway long story short, I found out I was pregnant shortly after Abby and I met and start hanging out. Abby expressed how happy and excited she was for me, but I just felt she grew more distant and didn't want to hang out with me anymore. I would call her and ask her if she wanted to hang out, go shopping, get mani/pedi  whatever, Abby would ALWAYS have an excuse why she couldn't go. Anyway, We end up stop taking for a few months then out of the blue, Abby hits me up and wants to hang out with me, but only on her time. Abby would ALWAYS want me to come over to her place but never wanted to come over to mine. Literally EVERY TIME I invited Abby to do something, she would make excuses, or say she would join me, but end up flaking out on me because she had "plans" she forgot about. 

I decided to invite Abby one last time, to my baby shower next week and as I already figured, she says she can't attend because she has "plans" already. I finally confronted Abby and asked her why is it that when I want to hang out, she always makes excuses. Abby sends me a very long message saying that "it's not her fault she already committed to something before I asked her and she feels that I only want to be around her when I want something" 

What do you guys think? Should I just dump Abby once and for all? Or try harder?
