He's way too selfish/chooses not to understand!

My fiancé texted me while he was on his lunch break, but I was in a meeting. I let him know that I'm busy and provided the reason. He responded saying I don't talk to him like I use to and he feels like we're growing apart. I explained (for the 7th or 8th time) that things at my job have changed. I'm not able to be on my cell phone in my office as much as I use to due to the company president and vice president monitoring the department more often. He also expresses that he has stopped going to the gym in order for us to spend more time but he feels I don't want to spend time with him. His idea of spending time every day is laying in the bed while my 7 year old daughter watches television in her room or the living room alone. I want to spend time as a family. After my response, he flooded my phone with hostile messages about how he will just stay to himself or find other people to hang out with....how he's tired of trying and all of this mess. I'm trying to respond to each message calmly but I'm confused as to why he's so mad.
