I hate yelling. If you yell at me I will turn around and walk away in the middle of your sentence. There's no point in it, I'm not going to give myself a headache trying to be heard and I'm not going to let someone else give me a headache because they can't keep their attitude in check and get their point across like an adult.

My mom yells about EVERYTHING, whereas my dad stays even toned. 
We listened to our dad much better than we ever have or did our mom.

Not going to lie, when we argue there are times when we yell... I can say I know it doesn't solve any of our issues that we are arguing about... It's pretty much just both of us being stressed out and pissy. We argue, yell, one of us apologizes then the other and we usually end up having sex lmao 😂

I'm not a yeller. Sometimes when I argue and am upset my tone gets sharp but I don't really raise my voice yet. I actually try to avoid even that.

Once one person starts yelling, so does the other and no one actually listens. Also, it creates an unpleasant environment. I'm glad my parents weren't the type to get in yelling arguments and it's not something I want to do around my children either. I'd rather they learn better tools for conflict resolution and dealing with anger.

I've always felt if you have to yell or curse to make your point, then it's not a point worth making. I prefer to talk out my issues or stay silent till I'm no longer angry. My fiancé is a yeller. He has got a lot better at communicating so it doesn't happen as often. If you yell at me enough I will snap eventually and scream right back, so it's good he has chilled out a lot.
