I was diagnosed with pprom at 17 weeks 6 days (last weds). I am now 18 weeks 6 days. I believe my membranes ruptured sometime in December, I bled all that month a bright red. I went in to the hospital BC I had passed what I thought was tissue and brought that with me to the er. It was scary, I could barely walk BC I was bleeding so bad I had to hold my pad to myself in hopes that it would slow the bleeding so I could walk. They kept me in admission for a week and finally gave me a new us scan. They said it looked like baby's brain had a bleed in it and I had only 6cm of fluid and was told that's not enough for baby's survival even in the womb. I still feel baby move (very little but there is a little) and in the hospital they monitored baby's heart rate every shit. It ranged from 145 to 160 daily which doctors told me is good for a baby in the womb. I chose to keep the pregnancy even though I have complications. I know the baby may not make it but I stay hopeful that my baby will make it. He or she is a fighter I believe that. I want to give this baby a fighting chance while I can.
