What qualities do you ladies look for in a man? How do you know he the one?

I am currently engaged to a man, but I am not sure he is the one. He has some great qualities, but he has some things about him that are not so great (the biggest thing is that he can be a bit of a bigot and a bit homophobic; he points out flaws in others and judges them). It is a bit annoying. I am not perfect either and I should accept him. idk.

I wasn't even looking when I met my fiancé I'd just come out of a relationship where I thought I was heartbroken turns out I didn't love him I loved the companionship.

With my fiancé I finally know what love is, for me it's that overwhelming feeling I get everytime I see him, or talk about him the burst of pride in my heart that he's mine, the fact he makes me laugh all the time, we have the most brutally honest relationship we talk about everything, the fact that we can enjoy every moment with eachother when we are doing nothing but lying in bed talking.

I feel so lucky to have him everyday, we balance eachother out & work as a team 24/7

Oh and he's the most handsome man I've ever seen, what more could I ask for?!

I would say for me a few things helped me know he is the one.

1. I am a better person with him. And he with me. We help each other grow we encourage each other to be the best people possible and support each other when we fall short.

2. Together we are balanced. I am a extreme extrovert and him a introvert. He calms my crazy spirt he has taught me how to enjoy being alone and I have taught him to enjoy being with groups of people. We have personalities that are so different but we work so well. Apart we are a half of a broken person togather we make an amazing whole!!

3. My life without him is Not fathomable!! I would be lost!  We have experienced so much togather he supports me when I feel I can't continue he is level headed when I am not. He has encouraged me throughout my education. He stood by me after a terrible car accident that has wrecked havoc on me. He was accepting and strong (when I was it) when I learned I need a surgery that will take away my ability to have children.

In short I my life would be only half what it is if I didn't have him!

Tbh I look for a man like my grandfather and uncle. They both treats there wife with respect , care for them to fullest and are always there for them. The way they show there love is so great! I finally found that man in my s/o

If you can say that you don't think he is the one then he probably isnt. I definitely wouldn't marry him if I were you. Not because of any of his personality quirks but because you don't have that feeling. I'm sure his judgey attitude isn't a new thing, I would re-evaluate and realize when you marry a person it is "As Is", not "Could Be"

Listen you will never findmr perfect nor a Prince Charming on a white horse.  No one is perfect.  Even my husband of five years can be an ass sometimes but what stays the mutual respect that we have for each other.  He also is an amazing father and that makes me one lucky woman.  Who cares if he is imperfect we all are too.  The question is can you live with those imperfections for the rest of your life?

I personally couldn't be with someone judgemental. Its a pet peeve but that is because I grew up around judgemental people. It's just so negative. Who would want to be around negative people all the time. If its not too bad I could probably handle it but not if it's an everyday thing.
