Omg yes I asked the nurse was she sure I told her to check again I wanted to cry but now I'm head over heels for my little girl I wanted my boy first not because I like boys better than girls I have two older brothers I like being lil sis so I always wanted that for my daughter but hey I'm just glad I have her in general so who cares about order just glad she's healthy and on her way

I'm not sure if disappointed is the right word. However, I felt something close to that for sure. And it's weird! I got what I secretly wanted (a girl) but, before I found out, I was 100% convinced it was going to be a boy. My husband was too. We had settled on a name for him, kind of started referring to it as "he/him" and talked about it constantly! When the tech told us it was a girl, our jaws literally fell open. I made her check three times. I kept saying "oh my god". But I surprised myself with how NOT excited I was. I'm a planner and I thrive on planning every detail out in my life. But this was not planned (hell, neither was this pregnancy lol) so it took me a good three days before I was excited. I felt guilty but got over it and I'm SO excited!!! Less than 2 months until my due date!!!

My husband was for sure because he wanted a boy, but I knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant I was having a girl and told everyone hahaha. But after the shock he got super excited and is super pumped, plus we have my son from a previous relationship so now we have a perfect little family!

I had no preference regarding the gender of the baby, but had a feeling what the gender will be, and I was right. Was also right with my husband's cousin and now we are waiting for his other cousin to deliver to see who is right!

Everyone I know knows I had my heart set on a girl. I bawled my eyes out for a solid 2 hours after finding out its a boy, but I needed to have a moment to cry it out because afterward, I could be genuinely happy about it.
I still kind of sigh every time I see baby girl stuff at the store or see a beautiful little girl bouncing around or whatever, yeah I do still get sad, but I am also excited to have my baby boy. It's just not what I hoped for
