Worried for my best friend

I recently posted about how distant my best friend has been to me and I actually asked her what was up. And I found out, before Christmas her boyfriend went to a Christmas party (got drunk) and was texting this girl explicit texts asking for photos and saying (sorry for description) "gonna shove my hard cock in your pussy" texts and she's still with him. Wanted to know what's others opinions on this? If you were in this situation would you take him back?
