Any tips for a cold during pregnancy?

I feel miserable & I don't really know what I can do to make it better. Luckily, I already have an ob appointment tomorrow. I'm having a sore throat, coughing, body aches, & a stuffy nose. Any advice?

I do chamomile, or other pregnancy safe herbal tea, with lemon, ginger and raw honey.  One small cup of coffee in the morning, if you like coffee. Plenty of warm baths (with epsom salt) and showers, and to really knock it out, "fire cider". It's a home made immune boosting cold remedy with apple cider vinegar, spice and aromatic root veggies. I came down with a cold last weekend and I just about have it cleared it now. I've also been taking extra vitamin C and eating a lot of oranges.

Vaporub, steam inhalation, ginger tea with lemon, and peppercorns washed down with warm water. I got a cold every so often when I was pregnant, and these always worked

You can take Robitussin DM for cough & congestion. It's what I take everytime I've gotten a cold. Granted I take the pills because I hate liquids but my ob recommend taking Robitussin DM for colds while pregnant

I'm having the same problem. My hubby has a nasty cold and he passed it to me. I can't find any relief.

If you've had the cold for a long time you might want to go to the doctor and see if it's a sinus infection. I was sick for three weeks so I gave up and went to the doctor and found out it was a sinus infection. He gave me antibiotics (z pack) that are totally safe in pregnancy and three days later I'm actually better!!!
