Anyone else ever deal or currently dealing with a kidney stone while pregnant? I'm 36 weeks & 3 days and I was having bad pain by my right kidney all day on Friday .. worried it was a kidney infection or uti related I went in to triage to get checked out. They ended up finding some blood in my urine (no infection thankfully) & said the blood along with my severe pain location made them think I have a kidney stone. I have never had one before. They gave me a shot of nubine (which made me loopy and sleepy but worked amazingly well), watched me for a bit and then sent me home with oral pain med and a strainer for when I pee and hopefully pass the stone. I slept decently fri night bc of the shot. Yesterday was my last baby shower and somehow (now thinking it was a miracle) I made it through feeling pretty good. Well last night and then now this morning I am just completely miserable. I barely slep, the oral pain med seems like it doesn't even touch the pain. I was up in tears at 2am. I can only lay on my left side now, so my hip is killing me from not switching sides. Just hoping to hear other kidney stones stories during pregnancy.. hoping you maybe passed the stone quickly?? I am so miserable here. I can't imagine going to work all week dealing with this pain.
