Is their anyway to get more ultrasounds?

I live in Canada so I don't pay for my ultrasounds,I'm very early on but I also have anxiety so I just worry that somethings not right and would feel more better if I could see my baby more often! Like 8 weeks,12 weeks,16 weeks,20 weeks and so on?:(

You can buy something to be able to hear the heartbeat from home that would be easier

They do them at mothercare in the UK, not sure if you have mothercare in Canada?

Where I am in BC, they only do one scan and that's at 20 weeks, but at every midwife appt they listen to the heart beat.

I would say your only option would be to go pay for a private one.

I'm feeling the same way. I have my first doctors appointment tomorrow at 9w 2d. I hemmoraged badly when my daughter was born and I would like better observation too, wondering how I can pose the question to my doctor lol

Im high risk and get 6. If you want more you need to go to a private clinic and pay out of pocket. The hospitals are super difficult to book. I had my anatomy scan at 10 at night because the hospital was soooo overbooked

The only way i know of is being high risk. I get one every 2 weeks, and have since day one. But i would rather be low risk and just have a few ultrasounds, than to be high risk.

Most doctors won't do that many unless there are complications.
