Bras, boobs and sizes?

Okay can someone explain to me the sizes? Like I get 10a 10b all that or 28a 28b I understand that but I don't get when people say I'm a d or I'm a b and I'm always so confused like b what? 10b 12b? What? So can someone explain how they are different?

The numbers measure the size around the rib cage so you can accurately measure the strap so that it will fit correctly underneath your breast tissue. The cup size is the actual boob. Not sure why they're letters though. So I'm a 32 D meaning my rib cage is 32  inches around under my boob and my cup size is obviously a D cup.

Usually you measure around your ribcage and ADD 4 or 5 inches, to give you an even number. For example, if your ribs measure 27 inches, you'll need to add 5 inches to make an even number of 32. If it measures 28, you'd still be a 32.
Then you measure around the widest part of your breast, and say for example if this is 35, the difference between your band (32) and your breast is 3 inches, making you a C cup.
AA - would be your breast measures 32, same as your band
A - 1 inch bigger, 33
B- 2 inch bigger.
Etc, etc.

I guess some people only like to give their cup size which can be misleading...for example I usually wear a 32c, but I know I could also fit into a 34b... the cup size would actually be the same. A 36a would also be the same cup size but the band would be too big. If you think about it, the actual cup has gota spread further across a wider rib cage. Alternatively I could fit a 30D....making my breasts sound like they're even bigger, but they're not. Haha I hope I'm making some sense to you :)

The number is what you are around. Like inches or centimeters. Letters are the cup size.
