Well... Turns out that the first day we ever met was out first date and the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. What can I say? I guess we move quickly.

He asked me to be his gf and I said no the first time but we kept dating... Then I started calling him my bf to other people around a month later because we were together all the time. I left for Europe for a month and he texted me while there saying he couldn't wait to ask again in person and wanted me to be his girlfriend. I told him I had already told people I was, and it was all just a very confusing situation. So basically we celebrate our anniversary on our first date :) it's very frustrating when people tell me this isn't when I should celebrate because then I have to go into this story and say we don't actually know the exact date of when we became boyfriend and girlfriend

We kind of celebrate every month on the date we started dating, but it's nothing huge. We'll just go out to dinner or go have drinks and send each other a cute text about how happy we are to have made it to another month. The big celebrations come for our yearly anniversaries
