I didn't think to ask my ob but do you think it's okay to have sex after having your membranes swept

I bleed so much after a membrane sweep 😩 sex was the last thing I wanted 😂

My OB encouraged it but I didn't bleed after mine, but my show/mucous plug did release that night, so that kind of puts you off the idea of having sex

Yes! I heard it helps actually because of more prostaglandins or something? The sooner you have sex after getting them swept the better!
