Anyone get the urge to pee after sex?

I always do, but don't want to because I want the semen to stay inside for a longer period of time.

Why do you want the semen to stay? If you're trying to conceive sperm gets to their destination immediately. The only reason it's good to let semen hang out in there is if you're praying it will soften your cervix!!

I always got UTI's if I did not pee after sex. My doctor said you need to pee right after sex to get rid of any bacteria. I started to pee after and I still ended up getting pregnant in 3 months. It definitely gets to where it needs to go if you pee.

You don't pee and get pregnant from the same place. Pee comes from the urethra which is a very small opening different from the vagina. Peeing won't make a difference in the time the sperm stays inside besides from gravity when you stand up.

Letting it stay in you longer won't increase your chances of anything other than a UTI. If you are trying to conceive the sperm will get to where it needs to be in a letter of seconds. So don't stress about that and just per after if you need to. Good luck ttc!
