There's got to be a reason the parents feel this way. I mean 24 and 25 are good ages to have a child, so it has to be some reason other than age. For example, do both of you have jobs? Can you support yourselves and a baby?  Are you responsible people or are you still into going out most nights and running the streets with your friends?  Do you have a HEALTHY relationship or are you normally at odds with each other?  Just because you've been together for a long time doesn't mean you're good together.

Really depends on a lot of things. If you're still living with your parents than maybe wait til you have your own place. And most important is you must be financially stable!!! Hope all goes well though.

There is no 'right age' within reason ofcourse but there is a 'right time' and if you both feel this is the right time emotionally, physically and financially then it's really no one else's business!

Im 19 my husband is 28 we've been marriedfor almoat a year. Mived to VA from NC, bought a house, new car, we are financially stable & wanna have a baby. Both our families support us but of course there are ppl pit there that wanna give their unwanted opinion. We don't care what other ppl say. It's our relationship not theirs. Do what you & your partnet want, not what everyone else wants.

There's a lot that goes into parental approval. I'm 21 and have been married for a year and a half but we do financially support ourselves and just bought our first home. On the flip side if we were 21 and were still out partying, unwed, not financially stable, and not showing responsibility enough to take care of a baby our families would not be as happy as they are. In the end though it is your decision but just don't have a child if you guys are not completely ready (emotionally and financially)

I'll be 25 this weekend, && my fiance just turned 24 2 months ago && I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd (his first) if you're ready financially && emotionally then I say go for it.
