Almost 28 weeks and went to the hospital cervix is dilating

Has this happens to anyone I'm on my fifth pregnancy I have three living children and one that passed away six years ago I went to the hospital I was dealing with a lot of pain and the urge to push when they check me they were saying I'm almost 2cm dilated they gave me a steroid shot and I have to go back in today for my second shot wondering if there's anyways I can stop dilating or do things to stop dilating  my due date is April 10,2016 I have a scheduled csection for 37 weeks on March 23 ,2016  but I had that scare of having to deal that I'm dilating I'm just worried will my baby survive if he is born early ?
