Head measuring small.

This happened to me @ 28 weeks... Stressed me out! This is what happened for me. My reg office sent me to maternal fetal medicine for a more in depth ultrasound. Their measurements put the baby as small but not worry some small like the OB office. Fast forward to 34/35 weeks babies measurements have all evened out. Her head and body still measure smaller than her legs and arms but everything is in he normal range.

Have they talked to you about what it means? I feel like you & your baby won't benefit from the  chemicals that are released when we stress and worry....so unless there's a specific sickness that they suspect try not to worry. I know that's a lot easier said than done. But if the doctors are right and the head is small....there's nothing to be done & stressing yourself out won't help either. Maybe call your doctor and tell him that them telling you not to worry isn't helping anything lol and ask if you can have a consult about what this means for your baby all the possibilities even if it's a low chance of whatever that might be. Sometimes information can be our worst enemy but for other researching the possibilities and mentally preparing for the worst can be comforting even if there is no real diagnosis. 

Hey Amy, how are things with your little one now? I'm in the same situation now, my little girls head has been measuring a little over a week small since her 20th week ultrasound and I've done 2 growth scans since, I'm now 26 weeks. All these measurement information are making me so nervous and worried that something is wrong. Just wanted to see how your doing today. Hope all well!
