4D - Trick to the Kick?

Question

I am going for my 4D ultra sound on Saturday... Any tricks or tips to get  baby boy to be active during the appointment?  Thanks! :)

Anyone else have a 4D ultrasound? How was it to see a sneak peek of your baby? So excited/nervous!

The place I used gave me juice while I filled out the paperwork. My LO was not trying to show her face, so the lady actually smacked my tummy near her face, had me change position, and we got her sweet face!

I have gone twice because baby just wouldn't wake up. I also have an anterior placenta so he was cuddling his face in it. I drank water all day and orange juice 30 minutes before the appointment and that didn't help. The tech told me I can go in again and we can try again. The other two times I went at 6:30-7:00 pm so I'm going to try to go Saturday morning and see if I can get him more active then.

Don't forget to drink a lot of water. The more water you drink, the clearer the picture will be. This was the best we were able to do.

When I went and did mine they said eat or drink something very sweet coming into the appointment. That will get the baby moving!!

So exciting! Here's what you do:
This was based on my 9:30am appointment.

potty as soon as you wake up and then drink 8-16oz of water to get your bladder to push your uterus toward the wand and 30 minutes before your appointment drink a glass of fruit juice. I drank orange juice and he was perfectly bubbly😊 but I didn't drink enough liquids so the pics weren't necessarily close up. I also had a small bowl of captain crunch just to be sure he was all sugared up. DO NOT drink coffee/caffeine, he might get active but possibly too active for the ultrasound but then there's a big possibly he may have a caffeine crash before you get there and then that defeats the purpose.😩 good luck! I went at 14 weeks and tech was 100% sure it was a boy!
