I went to the Drs this morning to get a progesterone injection and had cramping so they hooked me up to their nst machine. I didn't have any contractions but the baby's heart rate was between 175-180 and it wasn't fluctuating when he moved like they said it should so they sent me to the hospital to have extensive monitoring. Needless to say it made me dread labor. Those beds are so hard and uncomfortable. My question is... Is it normal to have abdominal pain after being monitored for 4 hours? The bands weren't tight at all. I'm not sure if I need to call my dr back or just leave it be. I'm high risk for preterm delivery as my cervix is only 1.8cm at 29 weeks as of last Tuesday. I hope it hasn't gotten any shorter!
