Can you get a pedicure or a manicure while pregnant... First trimester 9.5 weeks?

Yes as long as the salon is well ventilated. I'm 33 weeks and it's my birthday and I'm going to get a mani and pedi as my gift to myself 😉😉.

Regular manis and pedis are fine. Your nail tech should stay away from your ankles. I would not get acrylics or gels. I'm a nail tech and I personally waited until I was out of my first trimester due to complications I had early in pregnancy. If you are concerned ask your OB/ midwife.

Ventilated n they r experienced with pregnant women. Not sure if it affects first trimester but I know later on their r pressure points on your feet associated with starting contractions but I'll have to check how early you should worry about that

Me personally I wouldn't expose myself or the baby growing on me to any chemicals especially nail chemicals in the first trimester as that's the highest risk trimester. Why not wait another 3 week then do it ?
