I just found out through routine pregnancy blood tests, that I have Hepatitis B. I am very worried for my baby and myself. I thought I would never get it, since I don't inject drugs or sleep around. I also thought I was fully vaccinated. In both cases I was wrong. Apparently, I am just old enough that I wasn't vaccinated for it as a child, since the vaccine was not widely available back then. It was created in 1982, the year I was born. Now I have it and don't know how or why, but I am feeling depressed. Is there any other moms who are hep b positive?
