LASIK eye surgery?

Anyone had LASIK done? What was the experience like and how much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking? A doctor near me said I could do a payment plan of $188 a month but I am a college student working a part-time job and that is too much for me 😔

I've always wanted to have LASIK surgery also. But I'm scared to have it done. My husband had lasik before we started dating and the doctor ripped the lens of his eye & now he deals with chronic dry eyes. & it's harder for him to see to drive at night time. But I really hope that your experience if you decide to do it is a positive one! 👀😃

I had it done 7 or 8 years ago. I couldn't see the big E on the chart and the moment they were done I sat up and could read the analog wall clock across the room. I ended up with better than 20/20 vision. I do not recall the cost, somewhere in the $3,000 to $4,000 range.

Had it done about 8 years ago.  Best money I've ever spent!! I think it was around $2000.  It is a little freaky when you can see them coming at your eye but can't blink!!! But definitely  would do it again!

I got LASIK done about a year ago. Mine cost around $1,000 dollars (with insurance) but I live in Chile so the prices are probably different. Anyways, I was pretty nervous about the whole procedure but it's over before you know it! I saw the improvement right away. My eyes did hurt after an hour or so when the anesthesia wore off but with the pills they gave me it was tolerable. The eye drops helped a lot with the dryness. You have to wear sunglasses 24/7 for like 2 weeks and then again for a few more weeks but only during the day. I've noticed that I'm a lot more sensitive to backlight than before the surgery. I'm very happy though and recommend it! 😊

I work with 2 ladies who had it done and they said their only regret was they didn't get it done sooner. It's on my to do list this year!
