Pornography vs. Renaissance Art

Is Renaissance artwork different than modern day pornographic photography?

Many incredible art pieces from the Renaissance display naked women often laying or gazing seductively. Pornographic photos of women in the modern day often display women partially clothed or nude also taking seductive poses.

Keep in mind that though modern day pornography is in the form of photographs, the Renaissance period's form of photography was displayed through paint.

Most people would immediately say, of course they're different! One is art, the other is... Is... NOT art!! But consider these things first. Is there a difference?
