I got a bill this week from my first pregnancy appointment that was on January 5th. The bill was for lab work testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia and cost about $160. I don't remember my doctor doing a Pap smear on me during that appointment, my husband was there and he doesn't remember it either. My doctor did look at my cervix to make sure everything looked normal, but I feel like I would remember receiving a Pap smear. I'm going to call my doctor on Monday and ask about it, they're closed Friday's for the weekend. Has anyone else had a pap done on them during their first pregnancy appointment or do you think they might have billed me incorrectly?
