Epidural or not?

I got one but it didn't work so they removed it and I went drug free as there was no time to do another one. I haven't had any negative effects from having it placed.
You'll know what you want to do when you're in labour, I would however recommend researching ways to deal with the pain naturally in case you go that way (or you're like me and it doesn't work) that's the one thing I wish I had done, but had planned on an epidural through my whole pregnancy so didn't bother.

Had an epidural and absolutely loved it. It helped me relax. It was uncomfortable for about 30 seconds when they put it in. Nothing compared to the pain of the contractions. I have zero back pain or zero bad effects from it today. You will know when you are in labor of you want it.

I didn't get one. It was worth it. I was in labor for 2 days and pushed for 2 1/2 hrs. It hurt and was very painful. I had back and side labor! But I'm glad I didn't. I plan on doing it again.

I had one and I thought it made my back tight for several months, it helped with the pain of contractions.  I fully remember screaming when those shoulders came out. I'm going to try without this time. We'll see...
