Tanning while pregnant?

We never leave the house without slathering on sunscreen and packing both the bottle and hats in our bag to go. As a mother it's my responsibility to my children to make sure I take proper precautions so I will always be around and in good health for them, and children look to their parents to set healthy examples. There's no better time to start then when your pregnant.

I've read contradictory articles. It won't hurt unless your body temp raises too much. Soooo if you must, don't stay in the bed for a twenty minute session. Get out before you start sweating.

I've also read that spray tans are MORE dangerous because you're breathing in the chemicals as they spray.

Stay safe momma. Just listen to your body and you do you!

If you tan somewhere with Quality tanning beds that have good ventilation and good fans then it's not a problem if you think about it you would get more overheated going on vacation to the beach nonetheless if you live in a hot country no one tells you all you can't spend your time outside in the summer when it's hot you just have to be careful not to get too hot

A spray tan yes but not a tanning bed. It would get you way too hot

Nope. Getting hot isn't good for the baby (no hot tubs or saunas either).

I wouldn't do any tanning methods, period. Exspecially if your planning on breast feeding/pumping.
