It's a sexually transmitted disease. There are lots of them out there, it's worth researching. You can only get them from exchanges of fluid or blood, or contact with someone who's got them. ANYONE can catch them. They don't develop on their own. Some are treated by antibiotics, some, such as hepatitis and HIV need harsher treatments.
