Hi everyone!! So I'm getting the Mirena IUD soon, so excited but also nervous. Did anyone (primarily people who had bad cramps, but applies to all) feel the Mirena helped with cramps? I know it doesn't really release Estrogen, just Progesterone. Unfortunately my GYN told me, due to past experiences that I could have Endometriosis, so the Progesterone is supposed to help eliminate it, but since the Estrogen helps with the cramp feeling itself, she said that may be the downside, but everybody's different. I'm just really hoping it helps me, did it help you?
