About a year later i had my mirena removed, I never got my period back and started to experience different symptoms. They prescribed me provera to jump start my period, which it did, but then I was bleeding all month long. I was worries there was something wrong with me that I wouldn't get pregnant again. Finally they realized I had an infection from the mirena removal causing my tubes to be inflamed and not getting all my period blood through. After they administered the antibotics I stopped bleeding all month long and I figured I would get pregnant right away. WRONG!! I apperently wasn't ovulating since I had the mirena for a year without a period, so they prescribed clomid and provera. So I can have a scheduled period and then take clomid to ovulate. I did it as the dr ordered and then had sex every other day, I wait 3 weeks took a test and it said negative I was destroyed. I figured there was something wrong with my body that I wouldn't get pregnant again, but on Monday 1-25-16 I felt the need to take another pregnancy test because I was about to start my second round of clomid, it was positive :). I am currently 6 weeks 3 days. Now with clomid you have the risk of getting pregnant with multiples so now I'm just waiting to see if I'm having 1 or 2 babies, but I'm so happy!
