I was treated for a UTI last month about a week after I finished my period. My IUD really messes with my periods and I didn't get it again until 45 days later. It ran its five day course like normal but then again, a week after it finished I got another UTI. I just went to the Minute Clinic at CVS like I had before and she gave me stronger antibiotics this time and ran a urine culture. Haven't heard any results but that could be good. She said there would be no call if the culture results were clear of any other infections. However, I've finished the antibiotics today. But I'm still irritated around my vaginal area. Vulva hurts, dry, red and itchy. I think I may be getting a yeast infection too. It still kinda burns when I do have to pee too, which is a lot. I drink about a gallon of water a day.... Meaning my urine also shouldn't be very yellow or cloudy either. I've scheduled a doctors appointment for next Tuesday because I'm also experiencing some slight abdominal pain.
