Maybe I am i'm seeking honest opinions. My bf of 1 year has a 7 year old daughter and still lives with his parents. Since they're having guests this weekend he said he wants me to sleep over but I have to share a bed with him and his daughter since her room will be being used. I said I'll just come over and leave late because there's no way I can fall asleep with all 3 of us in a bed. He is so angry and saying i'm being dumb and selfish just because I don't wanna sleep over this one weekend. Am I really wrong here or what? Maybe I am idk.

That's childish. It's reasonable for you to not want to sleep with him and his daughter squeezed in one bed - and honestly I'm not sure how appropriate it is for his girlfriend to share a bed with his daughter anyway (depends on your relationship, I guess). You have a right to be comfortable and to say no thank you, I'll stay another time. I once had an ex boyfriend who adopted an ENORMOUS dog and on the first night he had the dog he wanted the dog to sleep in his room with us. I wasn't super comfortable with that since I didn't really know the dog yet, so I said think I'll go home to sleep tonight and I'll come back in the morning. Well my ex threw a fit, because he wanted what HE wanted - me and the dog in his room. It's selfish of your SO to dismiss your feelings/needs/comfort. He's acting childish, not you!

Know thyself honey. Sleeping with a child is no joke and sleeping with one that old could be hazardous. You could get elbowed, kneed and just be beat up. I've got kids and a king sized bed and I still wouldn't want to sleep with my own kids. I'd rather sleep on the couch. There's no way I'd get any rest. You know your own sleep habits and your man is just trying anything he can to get you over there. Don't let him shame you. If you decide to change your mind, it's cool ....just hate seeing a man acting like a wimp.

He might be getting offended because the reason you don't want to sleep over is because his daughters going to be in the bed. That might be making him feel like she's a burden to you. But I understand where your coming from. A cramped bed is no fun.
