Went in for an US to make sure baby is growing at a normal rate because my fundal height was measuring small but I am 34 weeks. After the tech measured everything baby is measuring 34.5 weeks and everything looked good. Shortly after, the doctor came in and said baby has a cyst on the umbilical cord. She said if I tested negative on the maternal serum test for the trisomy abnormalities then I should be fine, however she said 80% of the time everything is fine, and the 20% could be the genetic abnormality. Of course I went on a google binge and did not find such good outcome. Has anyone else had this issue? Pretty much freaked out. :(
