My SO and i both like the name owen but one of my best friends told me months ago that she is naming her next child that if its a boy. She isn't pregnant or in a relationship though. And im 39+2 with no name for the baby yet 😩

Name your baby Owen. It's hard to choose a name that you and your partner both love. Also, what if she doesn't have another child or what if it isn't a boy?

My sons name is Owen. It's my all time favorite. Go for it!!

Go for it. My mother's niece got pissed at me because I named my daughter after my  best friend, which happens to be the named she had picked out IF she ever had a girl. Pfft. Like I care. I gave my child a special name that had meaning to me. And now, here she is with tubes tied (supposedly) and only boys.

Use it. She's not pregnant. She may never have a boy! My nephew born 3 months ago is Owen. Love it!

Did you get that name from her? If so, I would not use it regardless if my husband and I love it. But again, it's up to you.. It's your baby and its your friendship.
