DG Health One Step pregnancy test

OK, so AF is due today. But when I awoke this morning no AF! I'm currently 17dpo & have a 29 days cycle. I took a DG Health One Step pregnancy test ( I bought from Dollar General) & it was negative. My CF has been creamy for days & I've been super wet down there (TMI) but my questions to you guys are who have taken this test & your results? & what do you think will be the best option as far as test goes?
